The Property

The property includes a two story house of 220 sq.m approximately with a garden around it and land for a total of around 1800 sq.m. By renovating the two haylofts it would be possible to add around 200 sq.m. to the total surface of the house.

The road that leads to the house is quiet and it is a little bit above the house with trees in between to separate and ensure privacy.

It offers a lovely view on the front side with South exposure so it gets a lot of sun, and on the back side there is a garden with the entrance to the wine cellar and the old hayloft. An idea could be opening the wall between the house and the hayloft, so one could create a dining room or lounge area that is on the fresher side of the house with a large window opening towards the back garden. Very cosy during summer nights.

A swimming pool can be built either in the front garden or in back garden.

Ground Floor

On the ground floor there is a room on the left of the stairs which is the one that could be opened to connect it to the hayloft on the back, a kitchen on the right with guests bathroom and a larger room.

First Floor

Going up the stairs, on the first floor there are two rooms at each side of the stairs. As on the ground floor, the room on the left can be connected to the hayloft on the backside to get another room.

On the right there are two other rooms plus another hayloft at the extreme top right of the building that could become another bedroom or study/reading/music room with a big window opening towards the landscape in front of the house for example.

The Location

Vigliano d’Asti is a beautiful old town in the middle of the Unesco World Heritage area. It has the benefit of offering a great balance between enough privacy and easy access to services and local amenities. In fact it takes as little as 5 minutes drive to the nearest restaurant, grocery’s store or pharmacy. You can reach the nearest airport by car in 1 hour and 30 minutes on average and it takes about the same to reach the Ligurian Riviera. Vigliano d’Asti is also within an hour reach of Turin one the most culture rich cities where you can learn more about the history of the Savoy family.
