This traditional farmhouse is located in the countryside of region Tuscany, and it was restored at the beginning of the 1990s. The location is close to some of the most beautiful villages in Tuscany, such as Asciano, Rapolano Terme and Siena. Moreover, this house offers a quiet and private atmosphere with a swimming pool and a 3.800 sq.m. garden.
The Farmhouse
This rustic home offers approximately 340 sq.m. of traditional accommodation arranged over 3 floors:
Basement:
From an internal courtyard you access the basement. The first room you see is a unique living room, which was obtained by an old orangery. Now, this room is converted into a light habitable space, provided with a wide window that gazes towards the pool in the garden. In the basement, you find also a small bathroom, a storage, a laundry room and a tuff cellar, which may become your personal wine cellar.
Ground Floor:
From the basement, you can access the ground floor via an internal staircase with terracotta tiles landing to a hall. To the right, through a wide stone arch, you enter into a light and spacious living room with stone fireplace, and peculiar barrel vaults ceiling. In the middle of the room, on an elevated platform, you find an antique dining table and chairs. To the left of the living room, you find a bright, fully equipped kitchen with a French window leading outside. On the same floor, there are also a guest bathroom and an extra storage.
Outside there’s a lovely stone portico, with direct access to an additional apartment with private entrance. This area is provided with a kitchenette, a bathroom and a bedroom.
First Floor:
You can access the first floor either via the stairs in the portico area, or via the internal staircase. Both of them lead you to an additional, more intimate living room with fireplace, connected to the loggia, where you can chat and relax with your loved ones. On this floor, you find also the sleeping area, which is composed of five bedrooms. One of them is a spacious, light master bedroom with private bathroom. The other bedrooms share a bathroom.
This floor will undoubtedly be your peaceful place to sleep, read sitting in front of the fireplace, or simply to spend your time doing what you like without any interruption from the outside world, as if it were a timeless dimension.
The Annex
The outbuilding measures 64 sq.m. and it is located close to the main building. At the moment, it needs restoration and could be converted into additional living space or an office, or simply a storage.
