The Location
Limone Piemonte is located near the Colle di Tenda pass and is the main ski resort in the province of Cuneo, both for the total length of the slopes and for the number of ski lifts. Born as a holiday resort and summer stay it is among the first Italian places where winter sports spread.
An easy road route and a popular railway line make the village easily accessible from the localities of the Po Valley, Liguria and southern France.
The historic center of Limone is lively and welcoming and the surroundings are equipped for outdoor sports. The walks and itineraries in the Italian-French natural parks are the components of a peaceful and relaxing holiday, but there is also plenty of opportunities for fun.
In the middle of the tourist season, a large pedestrian area allows you to easily travel along the main street and enter the suggestive alleys of the town, free from the passage and clutter of cars, accommodated in parking lots located in strategic points, on the edge of the town or near the accesses to the ski lifts.
